This morning we braved the wind and rain and I took Asha - and Geordie - to the New Auckland Art Gallery to the kids club. It was great they talked the kids through some pieces then played them some music by artists who make all their own instruments through 'found' objects.
They then took them into the art room where they made their own instruments. Asha made a little shaker/drum for Lulu from a paper cup and a larger shaker/drum of her own. She was in art heaven (of course) and these pics are from after everyone had gone.
Hopefully we'll be able to go quite often, a great winter Sunday activity. :)

Hello! Shoes look fab with that outfit. So glad Asha loves them. There's been a BIG Asha (and Lulu and Geordie) love fest going on here for a couple of weeks now. Ruby was happy to see this photo. :)
Such a great idea to go to the gallery, I've checked out the Queensland Gallery's kids weekend activities. Definitely going to do it soon.
